About Us

Yorkshire Land was founded in 1987.  Back then the company sought previously developed sites, where our civil engineering and groundworks expertise were put to work to regenerate land before developing schemes of predominantly bespoke executive properties, operating in a niche area of the property market in South Yorkshire.

The company largely moved away from housebuilding during the late 1990's to focus on the Directors' subsequent proven success in identifying land for residential development and progressing these sites through the intricacies of planning and development plan processes.

Now in our 37th year of business, our commitment to quality and attention to detail remains and having prospered, enabling hundreds of millions of pounds worth of investment across the Yorkshire Region to date, Yorkshire Land is recognised and respected across the Region as a leading force in the development industry, by a diverse array of small, regional and national housebuilding and land promotion companies.

Whilst we focus on results over publicity, Yorkshire Land has been recognised for its work with a variety of nominations and awards over the years, including Commendations by the National House Building Council and as Finalists for Best Strategic Land Promoter Award (2019) and Deal of the Year Award (2021) at the

Yorkshire Residential Property Awards.

Our operational reach covers the whole of Yorkshire and the scale of our projects ranges in size from a single executive home to new settlements and everything in-between, in all with the potential to deliver in excess of  3,500 new homes across the Region and a GDV in excess of £500million.
